Q. What is 1+Direct Dial Service?
With 1+ Direct Dial service you need to dial 1 before the rest of the destination number for North America and dial 011 before International calls. This service is available for Landline (Home phone) only.
Q. How does 1+Direct Dial Service work? This service requires you to switch from your current landline provider to Tiger Call for your long distance service only. Tiger Call will do this on behalf of our customer without any extra cost.
Q. Is 1+Direct Dial service available for Cell phone too?
No. 1+Direct Dial Service are available to Landline phone (Home phone) only.
Q. Can I use my current landline provider to get this service? Yes, 1+Dierect service work with all major landline provider which includes Bell, Rogers, Navigata, Allstream, Saksatel, Telus, Manitoba Tel and more.
Q. Will my long distance phone bill appear in same account that I have a landline service?
No Tiger Call will send you a separate bill for your long distance service.
Q. Is there any extra cost when signing up for 1+Direct Dial Service?
There is no extra cost to you. Our rates for long distance services remain the same for both services (1+Direct Dial Service and Access service)
Q. Do I need to contract for getting 1+Direct Dial Service?
No. you don’t need any contract. You may cancel 1+Direct Dial Service at any time.
Q. Do I need to inform to Tiger Call in case of I switch my current landline provider?
Yes. You need to inform Tiger Call with details about your new Landline provider and the date when you are switching.
Q. How will I know when my lines have been switched over to Tiger Call for long distance service?
Tiger Call customer service Representative will contact you in 7 to 8 business day after you sing up with us.
Q. What is Access Service?
Tiger Call provides you with a Local Access number which you will need to dial before you make a long distance call. For example for Toronto we will provide you with a 416 number.
Q. How does Access Service work?
You need to register the number that you are using for making long distance call. However, if you want to use another phone that not been registered with Tiger Call, you will have to use the PIN number that will be given to you. You may then use this
PIN number to make you long distance call.
Q. Can I make a long distance call with using Pay phone?
Yes. You can use a pay phone by dialing your PIN after Access number.
Q. Does Access service available for Cell phone too?
Yes. Access service is available for Landline and Mobile phones.
Q. Does Access service works with all the landline & Mobile phone providers? Yes. Access service will work with all Landline and Mobile phone providers.
Q. Do I need to contract for getting this service?
No. you may cancel Access service at any time.
Q. How long it takes to get Access Service?
This service will take up to 2 to 3 business days.
Q. How many Plans I can get?
You can have one plan per account.
Q. Do I need any contract to get plan? No. There is contract.
Q. Can I switch my plan?
Yes. You can switch your plan at your billing date with no extra cost to you.
Q What is frequency of dropping calls in the Unlimited plan?
There is the least possibility of dropping a call. However, we recommend you to call a Landline for best result.
Q. Is there any refund if my call gets disconnected?
No. There is no refund for dropping of calls.
Q. What personal information is required to sign up with long distance Plan?
Tiger Call required your Date of Birth with Driver License Number or Social Insurance Number.
Q. What are the payment options for this plan? Options of payment are by Credit Card, Bank Debit, Online/Telephone Banking or Check.
